PDP Presidential Aspirant, Dr Nwachukwu Anakwenze while addressing the National Working Committee of the party stated that during his administration, the country shall have uninterrupted power supply 24 hours a day as it is in America and other parts of the world. He aims to achieve the gargantuan feat by using wind, gas, coal and hydro electric sources which are freely available in all regions of the country. On revamping the economy of the country, the American trained physician said he will ensure that indigenous companies like Dangote, Innoson and others become mass employer of labour by empowering them with enabling laws, incentives and grants in order to become more productive as it was done in the sixties, the golden era.

In his words, "Unlike Europe, Japan and America, God blessed Nigeria with so much resources yet, the countries in these continents continues to build ships, manufacture automobiles and sell to Nigeria. It's time to change this ugly trend by making sure our industries manufacture cars, ships, planes and food for export. The National Chairman of PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu in his response described the passion of Dr Anakwenze as exemplary.

He said, "although you left Nigeria, Nigeria has never left you." He urged the PDP Aspirant to continue on his nationwide consultation as only the delegates have the power to elect one of them as the party's flagbearer, promising they are all qualified and shall be part of the leadership of a new country God willing PDP takes over government come 2023.
