Nwachukwu Anakwenze
President of the Igbo World Assembly (IWA), Dr. Nwachukwu Anakwenze, has expressed determination to eliminate corruption and develop reliable security that can guarantee the safety of life and property of all Nigerians.
Insisting that those objectives remain his major challenges if elected president, Anakwenze, who is aspiring to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023, stated this, yesterday, at a virtual meeting with past leaders of different Igbo and Nigerian organisations in the Diaspora.

He said he would focus on youth and women empowerment and to harness the country’s natural resources for the benefit of all, if nominated to run for presidency, adding: “I will work aggressively towards creating a Nigeria where people would enjoy constant electricity and renewable energy, solar, wind and biomass.”
He noted that one of the factors aggravating insecurity in the country is youth unemployment, which his presidency will confront with all seriousness and determination.

“I will create jobs and use all the God-given endowments of the country for the good of Nigeria and Africans, develop a world standard education and healthcare, restructure, regionalise and devolve powers expressed in a new Nigerian constitution,” he said.
